The body of Redding Powder Trickler is made of a very nicely enamelled piece of cast steel.  Cast Iron construction makes it very heavy for its size, thus unlikely to tip over when bumped.  The powder trickler is well made and well finished.  The feed tube is finely threaded so that powder will be dispensed a couple of grains at a time when it is turned.

As with most Redding equipment, this trickler will last for generations.

A powder trickler is used to gradually bring an underweight powder charge thrown by a powder measure gradually up to the desired final weight.  It is used in conjunction with a beam balance or electronic scale.
