This was used by my Grandad and was in his collection of quality tools.

The clamp is 14 1/2" whilst the top jaw measures 4 7/8

Opened up it is 12" twixt the jaws and they protrude 3 1/2".

The handle slides up the bar and you just clamp with a few turns of the wooden handle.
