The Santa Maria Endler (Bleeding heart Endlers) is hardy and undemanding in any aquarium. This particular type are rare and show off stunning colours in the body and tail. Because of their small size (even as adults) they make an excellent choice for small to large tanks, but do enjoy a roomy environment when available to them. Endlers are an especially peaceful fish, so get along extremely well with other fish in a community set up. I've had them with all sizes of fish and have experienced no issues. Santa Maria Endlers are very hardy making them perfect beginner fish even though these are a specialist type. Easy to breed, perfect for showing off. They're playful surface dwellers, non aggressive which all contribute to why they're great fish to keep.
