Canon's website defines setup cartridges as:

• If an ink tank is labeled "Setup," it means the tank is intended for the initial setup of your printer.

• Setup tanks have as much or more ink than the standard replacement ink tanks.

• Setup ink tanks aren't available for purchase. You can only get them with the purchase of a printer.

• The word "Setup" on the ink tanks tells you whether it's the original tank that came with the printer.

These ink cartridges are new and sealed in factory wrap (not in box). These are genuine Canon ink cartridges and NOT the re-manufactured or refurbished ink cartridges. I only ship to the contiguous US, (lower 48 states).
