This is a wonderful Civil War era tinned sheet iron shaving mug, commonly known as a 'Soldier's shaving mug.' The mug exhibits nicely soldered seams and has acquired a beautiful age patina. While there is some minor corrosion present, it remains in excellent overall condition."
