This Scheurich pottery vase is a stunning piece of mid-century modern decor. APPRAISAL NOTES:

This piece was made by Scheurich Pottery. Scheurich was founded in 1928 by the Scheurich cousins. Production for household ceramic production began in 1948. There main items were vases and flowerpots, some home decor like ash trays and candlesticks. Pieces were never marked with manufacturers name until 1954 when they would have begun using foil stickers along with the marks you see here on the bottom. The top mark being the form number and the bottom number is nearest to height in cm. This tri-colored decorative vase was made c.1960. Using the 550 form this was also hand formed.
