Snowberry Collier, c. 1901-03
Design for a Choker by René Lalique
Blank Greeting / Christmas Card - NEW & Sealed

This gilded premium card echoes the illustrious Art Nouveau era -
a motif by French designer and goldsmith René Lalique (1860-1945),
for the central section of a 'Collier de Chien' choker necklace, c.1901-03.
The organic shapes of snowberries were to be recreated in lustrous pearl with enamel,
suggested by the designer's shading on the original drawing.
Echoing the luxurious effect on the final piece, the card features sumptuous
a gold foil finish, and pearl details picked out in iridescent biodegradable glitter.
The original Lalique design is in the care of the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam.
