A Stunningly Hand-Crafted Masterpiece of the Highest Quality, Unparalleled Workmanship Typically Reserved for the Victorian Aristocracy. This is a magnificent Germany Late 19th Century Silver Claret Jug with baluster form color glass body beautifully hand enameled with multi-colour grapes branches decoration. Mounted hinged cover lid decorated with a silver collar chased with scrolls and cross-hatch woven decoration and vacant cartouches. The scroll handle terminating with a shell thumbpiece and a nice-shaped final on top. Hallmarked 800 and no maker´s mark, probably made by C. Heisler. Measure 31 cm high. An absolute most for collectors!
