They could produce flowers similar to these parents or look completely different! This is how we create new varieties of exotic hibiscus, by breeding them and growing the seeds out to see the new flowers! We nick the hard seed coat carefully with a razor, soak seeds in water overnight, and sow them in seed potting mix or soilless mix. The seed sprouts in 3-10 days with this method. If you do not nick seed and soak seed then it could take months to germinate!
