I have here for sale a book entitled LES MODES Revue mensuelle illustree des arts decoratifs appliques a la femme which is a bind-up of all the monthly issues of this French fashion and home magazine from January 1908 through to December 1908. It is illustrated throughout in b/w, many of the pictures being full page, and many in colour. It shows pictures of the latest fashions in dress, hairstyles, hats, embroidery and accessories, as well as short stories, fashion and home advice, and adverts from the era.

Half blue cloth on green cloth hardboards. 5 raised bands and gilt title lettering and decoration to the spine. Gilt page edges. Some rubbing to bands, head and tail and to joints. Gilt lettering to front board. Boards generally firm with pull to binding around front title page. Lightly bumped corners. Red marbled endpapers. Pages generally clean. 353 pages, 36 cm x 28 cm.
