Vintage Satsuma Moriage Porcelain Incense Burner made in Japan probably before 2000. 

This brown moriage incense burner is a bowl with lid, with holes in it for incense sticks. It has a a picture of Kannan and Arhat painted on it. The edges of the bowl and the top of the lid have foo dogs as handles. Some of the gold trim around the top lid has come off as well as the gold trim on the foo dog handle finial. It measures 3 inches tall and 3 1/2 inches from handle to handle.
