With an interminable life spent toiling away in a dead end office job, Cliff finds a release in Lawn Bowls, something which he's excelled at since a little kid. Although the elderly Bowls don't take kindly to Starkey and his unorthodox methods, he soon hooks up with an agent, and adds a touch of rebelliousness to the sport.
