Please note that the adaptors and boxes may differ while we upgrade our cutting and printing method.

For sale here are 2x pair of adaptors, the rear side panels and the dash fitment for the Porsche 996 Coupe, Targa and certain GT models.

These adaptors allow you to install a 4" speaker in the original Porsche grill without having to cut up your existing grill or make any other adjustments*(see below), however the full set will ONLY fit the Coupe and Targa. The dash will fit, but the rears will NOT fit the cab/convertible or the GT. The GT versions use differing adaptors depending on the year, please message me for the correct adaptor! This is due to the reduced space behind the speaker on the convertible version of the car and differing install methods on the GT.

• Remove your old speaker/grills with a Torx T-20 bit/driver.
• Re-use the OEM speaker screws to attach the adaptor to the grill, then use the 8 provided self-tapping screws to attach your speaker to the adaptor
  
  

The adaptors come with both 6mm and 9mm screws. The 6mm screw allows an install of a speaker with a mounting platform thickness of 1.5mm maximum. For thicker platforms such as on the Alpine SPG-10C2 you may need to use longer self tapping screws (9mm) but please see the speaker criteria information provided in the gallery. 

Unfortunately i cannot 100% guarantee the fitment of every speaker out there as speaker designs vary so much.

These are 3D printed from ABS and have been heat tested to over 100°, they come with fitting instructions and screws.

• Hertz DCX 100.3 (bottom mounting depth *B* exceeds 45mm)
• Alpine S-S40 (magnet width *C* exceeds 70mm, only a problem in the dash)
• JBL GX402 (foam upper *A* exceeds 95mm)
• JBL Club 422F (foam upper *A* exceeds 95mm)

For a wiring solution, the UK version of the pigtail cable is called the "PC2-805" which can be found on eBay will connect directly to the Porsche wiring harness at each speaker. An alternative is the "CT55-VX01". Otherwise a snip and crimp with spade connectors will be the alternative method. I advise the PC2-805 for an easier installation keeping your wiring as stock.

Can post overseas as a single small parcel via ebays Global Shipping Programme, please note that i do not set the postage costs for overseas postage or receive those funds, they go directly to ebay who sort out the postage and customs for your country. So im afraid postage costs are not negotiable as i dont set or receive anything via the GSP!

*not every speaker is the same, adjustments may be required to the speaker or adapter to enable a drop-in fit. If you choose a speaker that is outside of the criteria (see image) and confirmed fitting list then you may need to trim a cable cover on the driver side and/or the adaptor. Or some speakers simply might not fit at all due to size constraints.

Returns accepted but only in unused condition within 14 days and minus our postage costs. Installation of a speaker will damage the mounting points on the adaptor. Kenwood speaker not included in sale.
