Hello,

I am born and raised in Rome, I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in scenography and costume design, worked in film, theatre, TV, and computer graphics.

I am an illustrator, but also a painter, decorator, and artisan.

Thanks to the Edward Gorey House Envelope Art Contest, I created two half-human, half-animal, noir-gothic characters: Hari the dachshund and Musci the one-eyed cat. From the adventures of my two bizarre creations, a book of illustrations was born.

When I ink, I transform into Moss, a name inspired by a recurring dream where I walk barefoot through a dark and empty forest, on a carpet of wet and fragrant moss.

Through my hand my ink boards come to life unfurling an unfamiliar story born from images that inspire curiosity as they conceal and obscure world that must be uncovered.

A story perhaps, a forgotten memory maybe, whose cypher has long since been lost, forgotten in an uncanny reality.

My illustrations are ink boards depicting magical and surreal journeys through strange and vivid nocturnal environments, with dark, rustic undertones imbued with magic, panic and fear as Pan awaits us around every corner.
