• The toy is a miniature replica of the SDF-1, the main spaceship from the Robotech anime series. It was produced by Harmony Gold, the company that licensed and distributed Robotech in the US and other countries.. It was part of the Robotech Collector Series, which featured various characters and vehicles from the franchise. The toy was made of diecast metal and plastic, and had some details such as the main gun, the bridge, and the thrusters. It was released in 1985, along with the original Robotech TV series, which was adapted from three different Japanese anime series.. The toy is rare because it was only available for a limited time and in limited quantities.. It is a collectible item for fans of Robotech and anime.
