The edges are painted in vermilion, a color unique to Japan, and the aggressive red color, reminiscent of samurai armor, expresses vitality.
It especially enhances the plating of omelette, fried foods and meat dishes.

The surface has the taste of living iron that has been polished, tempered, and rusted repeatedly.
Of course, since it is ceramic, it is not iron and will not rust, but the craftsman's attention to detail in this design makes it a masterpiece.

[About Tamba-ware]
Tamba-ware is one of the six oldest kilns in Japan, known as the "Six Ancient Kilns of Japan". There are more than 50 potteries in the Tamba area, all of which are handmade.
Due to traditional techniques and full handmade, the number of production is extremely small.

[Precoutions for Use]
1: Placing directly on the table or dragging it may damage the table, so we recommend using a rug.
2: Since pottery is water absorbent, it is recommended to soak it in water for several hours when using it for the first time, and then wipe it lightly after soaking it in water. Helps prevent stains such as oils and seasonings.
3: If left for a long time after use, it will be difficult to remove dirt, so please wash it as soon as possible and rinse it well.
4: Although it is possible to use the dishwasher, we recommend hand washing as much as possible.
As there is no information on dishwashers outside of Japan, we do not recommend using a dishwasher.
5: Avoid using the microwave for a long time.
6: Do not use in an oven or open flame.
