This antique Northwood Co butter glass bowl with lid is an exquisite piece of opalescent glassware from the Victorian era. The Klondyke pattern, with its round shape and pearl flint (Opalescent) color, makes it a unique addition to any collection. Handmade and produced using the pressed glass technique, it comes from The Northwood Co and was manufactured in Indiana, United States in 1897.  The Klondyke pattern is also known by today collectors as Fluted Scrolls.  The body of the bowl rests on gracefully curved feet and is surmounted by a frill of beautiful flowers.  This antique bowl is not only a beautiful decorative item for all occasions, but also a functional piece for serving butter, fruits, nuts, or candies at the table. The dish have several bubbles and fine lines due to the molding and firing process.
