Vintage/Antique excellent Primarily Wool Hand-Stitched Penny Rug/Dog Ear Rug ~ flour sack backing as shown with no rips/holes/etc to the back covering ~ hand stitched along the edges of each piece ~ measures approximately 55" x 28"
~The condition for the age is excellent/back has a couple of minor areas of spotting but no rips/holes/etc to the floursack back covering ~ there are a couple of "penny" pieces that has tears or rips along the edging and a couple of pieces do have moth bites but very minor, particulary for the age ~ the rug was in a basement and does have a light musty odor as well as some areas of surface marks ~ I would suggest a trip to the cleaners for the rug or some light surface cleaning would also benefit the rug and tidy it up nicely!
