The books measure approx; 10.2cm by 17cm and contain approx 248, 247, 247 and 269 numbered, marble edged pages.
Each volume contains an illustrated title page for each month of the year (three per volume) along with an illustrated title page for the season.

Internally, the text blocks are tightly bound with a little age toning and the odd spot of foxing here and there.
The full leather bindings are edge worn with some rounded corners with some loss of the spine labels.
Volume two (summer) and four (winter) have some loss to the top of the spine ends.
