This was someones feedback on Discogs. 6th (?) album by FOLLIES BAZAAR ...first 3 albums released under Perspective (1970 -1972) ... an aggregation that sorta describes a music- / art-workshop at Rhode Island University, that has (to my knowledge) at least 13 albums on the shelf, of which one remains unreleased to this date! the music covers a most creative 'n artistically convincing wide range from sub-cult-beatified Acid-Basement Folk, tribal happenin' Jazz, 'lectric/acoustic West-Coast Rock jammer moods w/Prog-ish leanings to loungy Fusion-typo cuts 'n straight rockin' barrells w/ a psychedelic twang! the musical execution is brilliant throughout w/line-ups a-changing on almost every darn song!
The Right Of Little Rest is the follow-up to Closely Watched Trains & cuts into more electrified West-Coast Rock realm reminiscent of some magic spread by OASIS on Cranbus Records ("changing the I into we", "aces and eights"..) ..fine lead-guit flytes w/piano hitting an elevated psychedelic ridge on the far-out "calico incantations" instra-mental track!! ..femme/male lead-vocs; beautiful "dragon-motive" painting on front cover (back is blank) w/insert-sheet that has infos on line-ups, a poem plus a photo of the bunch!) No scratches, no warp. I do not have a record player so I haven't played it. I did listen to the music on Discogs, Love it.
