This is Japanese Nodding Head Figure, of a seated Gentleman holding a bottle and sake cup. he has traditional hairstyle and a Gi/ Cape decorated with bats. The weighted head 'nods' as it sits on a simple pin attachment to the body. Made of Earthenware with a polychrome glaze it measures 4 inches in height, or 10cm.
