This is an original estate package acquired many years ago, it is a 1-owner package out of California.  This has been stored and not used since reconditioning was completed.  It has been displayed briefly since we acquired it.  Full inspection of the package has been completed and brief testing was performed prior to listing.  The console is amazing and still wrapped in the bubble protector.  The CX-10 Joysticks are fully responsive, nice and clicky sounding.  The paddles are original and work like new and actually look never used.  The Box contents and packing is complete as well as the manual and warranty papers and a whole bunch of paperwork that was in the box.

VERY Rare to find this package in Open Box Condition, super clean console is nearly new looking in the box.  Comes with original bubble protector, all documentation and much more.  1977 collection of system box, console, rare controllers and ALL 9 of the original gatefold games complete and in very nice shape.  Bonus; Atari Game Collection, (57 Games Total) Package Sets, "Video Game Brain" NOS...AWESOME collector quality...don't miss this opportunity to acquire it now.

Nice complete 1977 Atari VCS collection, rare complete console in "Chess Piece" box with flap marked "Factory Reconditioned".  ALL 9 games from 1977 complete in gatefold boxes.  This console is very hard to find especially in this condition, it is like going back in time.  The set has all the appropriate paperwork, box and insert and packaging.  There is a ton of documentation and mail-in literature that came with the package when we acquired it.  Also included some rare vintage items, Atari Age Magazines and more.

We have added the entire 1977-1979 Atari game library.  The 9 Gatefold Boxes are in incredible shape and all complete with manuals.  The 1978 and 1979 games are all the Atari released games through the end of 1979 and also we added 2 released later, (Superman & Basic Programming).  Note, only the 1979 games have no boxes but do include manuals.  There are rare game storage cases and an Atari game album filled will cartridges also.  There is an Atari Travel Mug that is new in box, I have several of these, just applied a sticker but this mug uses 2 AAA Batteries and stirs the coffee for you, instructions and batteries are in the box.

As shown, this package includes the super rare "INDY 500 11" Boxed package with hangtab and features the Atari Logo, branded on the controller instead of the word driving.  These are 1977 1st run controllers.  This set was briefly tested and these are working well.  The paddles were removed for testing and pictures, they look never used.  I played Breakout and had no trouble busting through to the top of the screen.  The CX-10 Joysticks are working as new, nice clicking sound.  These were tested briefly for both directional and sliding movement using Pac-Man and Space Invaders.  Screen shots were taken of these games playing.

If you choose to, you will be able to play right away, depending on your TV, you will need a tuner set to channel 3.  I have included a gold cable screw in adapter to the attached video cable.  Just connect this to the cable input of the TV, No box needed.  The console put out great color, no adjustments were needed.  All 6 Toggle Switches and control ports work as intended, the switches are super shiny and responsive, just awesome...

The ATARI VCS box is still solid and intact and has all the flaps and in good overall condition.  The box is still factory sealed at the other end and looks nice overall with some handling and storage wear present.  The original insert and packing boxes are all included as shown ALL of these pieces are crisp and solid.  This package looks to have been reconditioned late in 1980, this was before they set up the division in Sunnyvale in 1981 with the red boxes.

57 Total Games, 29 are complete in original boxes with manuals.  12- 1979 Games come on a rare game tower and all have the manuals.  8 Games come in the Atari Game Album and include manuals.  8 Activision Classics all with manuals and were stored in the Videostak.  ALL of the games are all tested and work, some were played while testing out the console.  ALL of the original 1970's and early 1980's game catalogs are included.  We have also added the RARE (MAIL ONLY) Original Green Log Book from the 70's, everything as shown above in the pictures.
