The SRU-18 was first used in the early 1960's as a component in the B-58 Hustler dedicated survival kit.  Those were obtained from Gloy's Import Company. The USAF Drawings for the tool were done in 1962.  There are a couple of versions of the tool.  The ones in the case shown in the post are from the 1962 drawing and were used in Vietnam and are still listed as an optional component today.  The latest contract number for them I have seen is 1988. 


In relatively rough shape. May need some restoration depending in intended use.
