Bariloche - These vintage Bariloche watch bands were manufactured in the early 1990's. When outdoor products first hit fashion. I remember saving up my allowance to buy one for my digital Timex when I was 11 years old. Their popularity was equal to imported designer Jeans. Everybody just had to have one. Bariloche made a variety of models and sizes to fit the different needs of different outdoor sports. They even made a variety of high quality leather watch bands for the more traditional look. The company had a good run for about a decade. Until of course people started using their cell phones and stopped relying on classic watches. Of course now watches with the ease of their use are quickly coming back in style. All the Bariloche products were of the best quality using the best materials possible. Bariloche is no longer manufacturing these and may be out of business all together. I guess that would put them in the vintage, retro category (I guess it would also mean I'm old). After searching all over for them online I can barely find any for sale at all. My inventory is all new and in perfect condition. The MSRP price marked on the product is the actual price from the early 1990's. They were always considered a high end product.
