Original Analog - JONI MITCHELL DEBUT: Song To A Seagull - Two Tone in Excellent

Offered is the Original Analog Release of Joni Mitchell's Debut Album - Song To A Seagull.

The album was originally titled "Joni Mitchell" (a printing error for the Cover cut off the last part of "Seagull" - please see cover photos in our Gallery).

All the songs and the Cover Art were the work of Joni.

Additionally :

Before the album Mitchell had already written songs that were hits for other artists - ”Both Sides Now" and "Chelsea Morning" for Judy Collins, "Eastern Rain" for Fairport Convention and "Urge for Going", "The Circle Game" and "Tin Angel" for Tom Rush - but she chose to record none of them for her debut.

THE VINYL : EXCELLENT

EX :  Lightly played with minimal evidence of spindlewear, both sides of the LP retain all of their original gloss.
 
Bright, undamaged, Orange, Brown and Black Reprise Records "Two Tone" Labels (please see photos).


Evident are some light marks, including sleevewear from the original paper inner sleeve, and some shallow hairlines. There are no deep marks, and the tracks play cleanly with no skipping or sticking.
 
The record has been carefully handled and  infrequently played. 





THE GATEFOLD COVER : EXCELLENT +
 
EX+ :  Please see photos / well-stored with some minor scuffing / bright colors / all of the seams, including the spine, are intact / a name is written on the inside of the Gatefold cover in the top right corner - you can see this in our Photo Gallery / no other writing, paper loss, paper tears, dirt, or stains.


Included is the original Reprise Records paper inner sleeve (please see the photos in our gallery).


We have placed the record and the cover into separate, protective plastic sleeves.
