I’ll tell you what I know and don’t know- it’s my first time having one of these so I tried my best to test each function.

The battery compartment cover is missing and there is some corrosion on in the area. I’m not sure if the battery will take a charge, but the unit turns on with it plugged in. Also, the AA battery adapter works and runs the unit.

The display does not work.

One of the Hi-MD tapes has a recording on it and plays through headphones just fine. The other tape seems to be empty but I wasn’t able to get a recording. Definitely could be user error.

The other extras aren’t really tested because I’m not sure what they do. Hopefully this is enough info to accurately describe what you’re getting and make an informed decision about. But again, I’m selling as-is/ no returns.
