This cover was sent from the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire, to New York City, New York, U.S.A., in 1921 or 1922! It was sent to a Mrs. A. E. Clayton.

To continue, the overprinted(7.5-Piastres), brown, 5-d British stamp used to send the mail is in very good condition! The S.O.N. cancel from the British P.O. in Constantinople is pretty good, but is smudged in some areas.

Lastly, as for the condition of the envelope, it's relatively good! It's pretty clean, with some tears at the top. The back flap is only 45-50% intact, though. Noted imperfections aside, this is still a nifty piece of mail sent in 1921or 1922 through the British Post Office in Constantinople, Ottoman Empire, to The Big Apple!
