Built to perform in the most demanding conditions, the black Pentax WG-90 digital camera from Ricoh offers a reliable means of capturing photos and video in situations where ordinary cameras just can't cope. Equipped with a 16MP BSI CMOS sensor, the WG-90 delivers high-resolution, low-noise images. In addition to a maximum sensitivity of ISO 6400, this camera offers a number of options for dealing with low-light shooting situations, including a built-in ring light, Flash , and an LCD display that lets you adjust the brightness. With the WG-90, you can test the limits of media capture in extreme conditions, taking the camera underwater up to 46' deep or shooting confidently in freezing temperatures as low as -10°C/14°F.
28mm wide angle lens with 5x optical zoom
Capture vast landscapes and detailed close-ups with the WG-90's 5x optical zoom lens, which offers coverage from 5mm to 25mm (28mm to 140mm full-frame equivalent).
Robust construction
The WG-90's rugged construction is integral to its field reliability and allows it to be used for a wide range of applications. It is capable of shooting underwater up to 46' deep for up to two hours of continuous operation (equivalent to IPX 8 or JIS Class 8). Additionally, the WG-90 is shock-resistant against drops from heights of up to 5', temperatures down to -10°C/14°F, and weights up to 100kgf (kilograms of force).
2.7" LCD display with outdoor viewing mode
Equipped with a 2.7" LCD display, the WG-90 lets you preview images with ease. Screen visibility is excellent and can be improved in low-light situations using the Outdoor View setting mode. Additionally, the monitor features an anti-reflection coating to reduce unwanted reflections and glare.
Adjustable macro illumination
Six LED macro lights surround the camera lens to illuminate your subject during macro shooting. In Macro Lighting mode, the brightness intensity can be adjusted in five levels.
Full HD movie recording
Full HD movie recording at 30 fps is available in H.264 format. Slow motion video recording is available with High Speed Movie mode. Video editing functions are built into the WG-90, allowing you to split video or create frames from selected frames. The camera's HDMI (Type D) connector allows you to view movies on a TV or other device.
Triple anti-shake protection
Pixel Track SR is a mechanism for compensating for camera shake by digitally processing the affected still images.
Digital SR mode enables the WG-90 to automatically detect low-light conditions when shooting still images. Sensitivity up to ISO 6400 allows the use of faster shutter speeds, minimising the negative effects caused by camera shake.
Movie SR mode compensates for image misalignment caused by camera shake through the use of exclusive software to produce clips with significantly reduced image blur.

- Auto Picture mode selects the most appropriate shooting mode from 16 unique scene modes.
