One vintage Topps Superman the Movie trading card released in 1978.

Card available is

Card is in v good condition with clean front and back and sharp corners but has a musty 'in-the-loft-for-many-years' fragrance which is understandable for a 40 year old card.It also has a slight bend in the top right corner which should flatten out if in a folder.

As with the Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Star Trek and various football cards these were available from the local newsagents and came with a stick of gum. Unlike in the US, the UK collectors were denied the sticker in the packs and sometimes also had variants within a set. The Superman cards set in the UK consisted of 66 cards while the US set had a different card stock and an extra 12 cards as the second Superman red series started from #79.
