I have here for sale a book entitled BIGGLES FAILS TO RETURN by Capt W E Johns.  It is the fourth impression HB with dustjacket published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1951, following the first edition of 1943.  It features a colour frontispiece, 15 b/w illustrations, 5 of which are full or double page, by Stead.  

Red hardboards with title lettering to the front board and to spine.  Boards in very good condition.  Covered by a colour illustrated price unclipped dustjacket with white lettering to the front cover and blue and black lettering to the spine. 7 shillings and sixpence. Torn and loss to the head and tail.  Red maps to the endpapers.  Pages clean.  223 pages, 19 x 13 cm.
