Hotel Sherman is where the 1926 

Mafia/Gangster Peace Conference

was held.  Deadly violence had gotten

so bad that Al Capone asked for

a conference.  This was the site of 

The Hotel Sherman Treaty or the 

gangster peace treaty. 

This is from an estate of an avid

Mafia/gangster collector.  These

authentic pieces come from the 

Sherman House/Hotel Sherman 

in Chicago.  Pieces included are:

1) An International Silver Company

64-ounce silver plated coffee/tea pot 

with The Sherman in block lettering on

the front. The bottom: Hotel Sherman 

in cursive lettering, I and S in a square,

International Silver Company in block,

Silver Soldered in block, SG0448 in 

block, and 56 in a square.  No dents 

or dings. Does need cleaning. 

2) A Reed & Barton silver plated dinner

fork.  Has the Hotel Sherman logo on front,

has Reed & Barton in block on back, along 

with Hotel Sherman in cursive on the back.

No dents or bends.  Needs cleaning.

3) An Albert Pick Company, Inc silver plated

pickle fork.  Has Hotel Sherman in cursive on

the front and Albert Pick Co. Inc. SECT. in 

block lettering on the back. No dents or bends.

Does need cleaning.
