The base cards feature beautiful artwork by some of the industry leaders in comic book art & design. Each card back identifies the artist that is featured as well as information about original appearance of the art itself.

The artists who have cards in the base set are: Joe Jusko, Lucio Parrillo, Ale Garza, Stephen Saowski, Edgar Salazaar, Patrick Berkenkotter, Lui Antonio, J. Scott Campbell, Brandon Peterson, Paul Renaud, Fabiano Neves, Carlos Rafael, Arthur Adams & Francesco Francavilla.

This series was originally released only in factory-sealed card sets (no sealed packs of cards were made). Inside each factory sealed card set was a complete base set, 2 sketch and/or autographed card & only 9 (random) chase cards. No rare autographed cards or sketch cards are included in this listing.
