1-Year Return to Base Warranty

• If your item develops an issue within the first year, please return it to us at the address below, and we will get it repaired for you.
• On average, it takes 3 to 4 days for your item to be repaired.
• When returning an item, please include a note stating your name, eBay user ID, return address and a brief description of your issues.
• Please note you are responsible for shipping the item back to us. Once the item is repaired, we will pay to get the item shipped back to you.
• As batteries deteriorate over time, they are not covered under our warranty. We can only guarantee that the battery will work upon arrival. Please refer above for the battery condition.
• Accidental damage is not covered under our warranty, this includes screen damage, liquid damage etc.

As New

Ex-display/unwanted returned products. Laptop in immaculate condition with original box. Original paperwork and recovery disk may not be included.

Excellent - Refurbished

Laptop has little signs of use, may have minor wear and tear.

Very Good - Refurbished

Laptop will have minor wear to the lid and palm rest, and may have minor scratches/marks around the surface. There will be no physical damage to the laptop.

Good - Used

Laptop has clear signs on use. Expect the laptop to have dents in the lid, cracks, major scratches, clear screen blemishes and a worn keyboard.

Testing / Quality Control 

We use ITAD testing tools to check the condition of the most important components. All tests are performed by technicians while an erasure or imaging operation is ongoing in the background.

DISK DRIVES 

The historic information stored on the drives by the SMART diagnosis firmware is retrieved and analysed to determine if the drive is in a healthy state.

SOUND               

A voice file can be played to check the left and right channels of the sound components.

LAN AND WI-FI CONNECTIONS 

The clients establishes a connection with the server and sends/receives several control packets using both network interfaces.

USB PORTS      

All USB ports are tested by inserting any USB device. 

BATTERIES        

Our system informs of the actual percentage of useful capacity and of the current charge level of the batteries.

KEYBOARDS        

Our system presents a keyboard layout on screen and provides a visual feedback of every key pressed and released.

LCD PANELS         

The panels of laptops and monitors can be tested by showing the basic colours successively, so dead/lit pixels and other anomalies are easily spotted.

WEBCAM              

The PC Auditor will open a window and show the video captured by the webcam, so the technician can verify the quality of the video stream.

TOUCHPAD           

The Workbench detects when the user input is coming from the integrated touchpad on laptops, which allows to verify the cursor movement and the press of buttons.

MEMORY                   

The clients can be started in a special mode to run a comprehensive memory test.
