Color changes from green to yellow and sometimes brownish-red. The carat is .40, so nearly half a carat and the simple knife-edge band is platinum. It fits my left hand which is smaller than my right, but it is a size 6 and I am a 7. If I keep it I will have it sized. It is hard to part with :)
