Personally Signed by Eleanor Maud ( Pat ) Cheramy  resistance worker   Pat Cheramy is an English lady, one of the bravest women in the former French Resistance  movement. After being arrested  when working for the Pat O'Leary  line,she survived the worst degradation and torture by the Gestapo. She was imprisoned in the notorious Ravensbruck Concentration Camp. For 19 months she was left in the condemned to die wing of the gas chamber.  For her gallantry she was awarded the highest international decorations. 

was an & Wg Cdr Higginson.(Escaper )F W Higginson ( Taff ) Sqn Battle of Britain WW11 Fighter Ace with 12 Victories Shot down in France  captured by the Vichy Police near Spanish border  sentenced to 6 mouths in civil court moved to Fort de la Revere Prison in Nice escaped returned to England and rejoined 56 Sqn on 6th October. He attacked a Do 17 and his aircraft blew up and crashed nearby the Do 17.  Details enclosed. RAF Museum Reference No ES23c Certified Copy  0629 of 1060.
