"Tsuba-taikan" by KAWAGUCHI Noboru
First reprint edition(reprint of a famous book ). Published by Sword Shunju Shimbun in 1972. Green leather-bound hardcover with slipcase, approximately 1054page, the top edge gilt. A booklet explaining the revisions is included.
This book contains approximately 650 photographic illustrations of tsuba. Of these, 15 are color's plates. All content is in Japanese.
Condition
Cover and slipcase show age and handling wear. Age-toning to edges of book. Two very small writing mark from a previous owner. Previous owner's signature on the endpapers, small tape removal mark on the back of the cover. Otherwise, the book is in very good overall condition for its age. No noticeable soiling to pages.

Aigan-meihin-Shu (Treasured Masterpiece Collection), Part 2"
First edition, published by Shibata Sword Store Library Department in 1963, hardcover with slipcase and storage box, approximately 400 page.
The 300 tsubas featured in this book were selected from a vast amount of materials on sword mounts, and were selected by SHIBATA Mitsuo and four other authorities in the sword world, and they are presented by processing method and by author. Of these, 20 are color's plates. All content is in Japanese.
Condition
The storage box shows deterioration due to age and handling. The slipcase has a single strike (see photos). The cloth-covered cover shows faint age spots. The edges of the book show light age spotting. Otherwise, the book is in very good condition for its age. The pages show little signs of use, with no obvious soiling.

"Sword Guard Masterpieces"
Edited and Published by the Society for Preservation of Japanese Art Swords in 1952
First edition, with 159 illustrated leaves, in box. A separate volume (commentary) is included. Contents are written in English and Japanese.
Condition
The storage box shows deterioration due to age and handling, and one part of the box is damaged. (See photo). The leaves of the illustrated plates and the separate volume show some age spots. Several leaves have noticeable stains (see photos).

This book covers the masterpieces of Japanese sword accessories from the Muromachi period to the end of the Edo period, excluding sword guardes. It contains about 540 works, categorized by design theme. The total length of the book is 500 pages, of which approximately 300 pages are devoted to the introduction of sword accessories. All content is in Japanese.
Condition
The outer box shows age and handling deterioration, and The edges of the book show slight staining. Otherwise, the book is in very good condition, pages are clean.
