M.2 M Key SSD to PCIe x16 Bifurcation 2/4 Bays Split Array Card 4*32Gbps for M.2 NVME PCI-E 2230 2242 2260 2280 SSD Adapter Card
Quantity:1pc
Product Parameter
Product name: double-sided 4-disk NVME raid PCI-EX 16 split card
Support hard drive: M.2 NVME protocol SSD / M.2 PCI-E of the device
Support length: 2230/2242/2260/2280. 4 lengths of m2
Transmission speed: 4*32Gbps
Support system: Win 8/10 system drive-free use (other systems need to install nvme driver to use)
Note: This product can run 4 NV ME at the same time,
but the motherboard must support PCIE signal splitting.
Unable to recognise SSD processing steps:
1, please be sure to confirm that your device does support PCIe split,
not your device BIOS support split, plug it in and it will work, must be set up in the BIOS to use.
2, the device has more than one pcie slot, you also need to confirm
that the BIOS split slot is the slot you adapter card inserted.
3, please use an eraser to clean the gold finger before inserting the test.
4, the BIOS to restore the default settings, and then set the device
corresponding to the PCIe slot split into x4 x4 x4 x4.
5, please carefully check your device's PCIe slot, some devices from the appearance of PCIe x16,
but from the slot feet and signal lines to distinguish, the actual only x4 or x8.
6, please enter the system to the disk manager to see whether to identify the hard drive,
rather than open my computer directly to see whether to identify the hard drive.
Product Description:
1, please make sure that your motherboard PCIe x16 slot support pcie signal split into four PCIe x4,
general motherboard if the BIOS inside the "PCIEX16 Bifurcation" and other similar options,
options to go in and see "PCIE 4x4" and other similar settings, generally support split;
server chips and this is not the same, please consult your motherboard official customer service.
Please do not buy if you can not use!
2, if you want to group raid,
please be sure to use the same specification of the same model of the same 4 hard disk,
so as to ensure the consistency of the hard disk performance.
raid can be grouped into a function is determined by your motherboard,
and the adapter card has nothing to do with, we can not provide technical support.
3, only support 2230 2242 2260 2280 size NVME protocol.
Does not support the use of other protocols M.2.
4, some motherboards only one with the CPU connected to the PCIe slot to support PCIe split,
if occupied, the graphics card will have no place to plug.
5, some motherboards PCIe slots are bandwidth sharing, such as the first PCIe slot is PCIe x16,
the second PCIe slot is PCIe x8. If the two PCIe slots at the same time to insert the device,
because of the bandwidth sharing, the two PCIe slots are all the bandwidth of PCIe x8.
Assuming that the first PCIe x16 slot supports splitting to
PCIe 4x4 before the second PCIe slot is not plugged into the device,
but after the second PCIe slot is plugged into the device,
because the bandwidth is changed to PCIe x8,
it will lead to the failure of splitting, resulting in some discs not being recognised.
Some motherboards split the PCIe x16 slot into 4 x4 in the BIOS,
because the motherboard has multiple PCIe slots,
after inserting devices in other PCIe slots, the split PCIe x16 will actually become x8 x4 x4,
but the BIOS settings still show 4 x4.
Such motherboards will fail to recognise the disc in the second slot after inserting the adapter,
because the chain width of the second slot is not split;
There are motherboards with PCIe slots and U.2 can only choose one,
please pay attention to read the motherboard manual.
6, please note that most motherboards must work with the CPU,
low-end CPU does not support the split,
or because the number of channels is not enough, even if the split can not be used.
This phenomenon is more common on AMD chipset motherboards.
Although your motherboard BIOS split into four X4,
but the CPU is relatively low-end and thus can not allocate so many channels out.
