Hoyt" located between pages 190-191. Brown calf leather binding with gilt stamped red leather title label on the spine. Marbled end sheets. Boards are worn and slightly bowed. Light edge wear to the covers. Leather chipped base of the spine. Pages 13, 14 have a closed tear with no loss of print. Light to moderate scattered foxing to pages. 1846 inscription written on the half title page. The second title by William Sprague provides additional history of the New England area from the 1600's up to the early 1800's.
