Here I have a Vintage 1979 Roly Poly Replica of "Businessman" Tobacco Tin. This is by Bristol Ware Brownie canister container. I do not see any dents or dings of any kind.

Replica of an antique ROLY POLY DIXIE QUEEN TOBACCO TIN CONTAINER. The original antique lithograph tins were produced by Tidenco of Baltimore around 1910-1912.

This lithograph design is called the "SATISFIED CUSTOMER" or the "BUSINESSMAN." The lithograph is detailed and includes a rendering of a box of Dixie Queen Plug Cut Tobacco on the back of the little round man's coat. Smoking a pipe, the little man wears a pinstriped vest with gold buttons, a black tie with diamond stud, an orange collared suit coat, and a gold chain with a shark's tooth accent likely attached to his pocket watch. Tucked in his right pocket is his handkerchief, and from his left pocket, he is grabbing a package of Dixie Queen tobacco.  The details even include his "balding head."

The container stands 7" tall and 6" in diameter at the widest point. Manufactured by Bristol ware, A Division of Cheinco Industries in 1979. The condition is very good. There are a few smudges on the lithograph--the one near the top of his head is the most visible. (See photo #3,6, and 7)

Tidenco of Baltimore: Tindeco initially offered six different characters for Dixie Queen, Mayo, Red Indian, and U.S. Marine. Tobaccos. At one point, the full collection of characters contained 18 characters.  Sometimes referred to as Brownie Tins, the tins were designed and marketed to hold brownies after the tobacco was used.
