If you are viewing a listing for a clothing item, you will see a picture containing measurements of the item. These measurements are taken while the item is laid flat. The best way to ensure an item will fit is to take an item you own and fits you well and compare its measurements.
You may notice on most items that my measurements are different than the tagged measurements. This can be from used clothes shrinking or stretching over time. Even for new clothes, certain brands may mark their tags slightly higher or lower than the actual measurement.
