This is my custom Reading G2 Passenger Set. This set consists of a custom-built, Mantua kit-bashed Reading Company G2 Pacific (locomotive and tender) with additional brass detailing and five (5) matching Athern, Reading Company passenger cars.

The locomotive was not built by me, but I did upgrade all the electronics to DCC using a TCS WOW101 Steam decoder. The sounds have been configured to match a Reading G2 as closely as I could, and the new can motor and gear box makes this engine run great!

A note on photo 19 (tender internals): I have upgraded to a Scale Sound Systems speaker instead of the TCS speaker (which is what you can see in the picture), and it now has a much nicer sound.

Of the passenger cars, I built the three passengers cars that have the original boxes. The other two were assembled when I bought them and are wrapped in a thick layer of bubble wrap.

I will be including some extra goodies with this model as well. You will get the original motor with the extra hardware, the TCS manual that came with the decoder, and a wiring diagram that I created so you can better understand how everything is hooked up if you decide to modify it down the road.
