For your consideration is a 1/2 gallon common jug, made of stoneware.  It was manufactured by Minnesota Stoneware.  Minnesota Stoneware was founded in 1883 in Red Wing, Minnesota.  In 1906 Minnesota Stoneware merged with Red Wing Stoneware and the merged company named itself Red Wing Union Stoneware.
It has a height of approximately 7" and the bottom has a diameter of slightly more than 6".
This jug is an old item (1883-1906) that was used.  It has 0 cracks and 0 chips, however it has a major glitch caused by it touching another item being kiln fired at the same time or it touching a kiln wall during firing.  Also, it has glaze skips and other manufacturing errors.  A previous owner used a red marker to write on the bottom.  Please, carefully examine the pictures, as the pictures are part of the description.
