The Navy Lark was a British radio comedy programme that aired on the BBC Home Service from 1959 to 1977. It was set aboard a fictional Royal Navy frigate called HMS Troutbridge and followed the misadventures of its crew as they tried to carry out their duties while facing various challenges and setbacks.

The show was written by Laurie Wyman and featured a cast of well-known actors, including Leslie Phillips, Jon Pertwee, and Stephen Murray. It was popular with audiences and ran for nearly two decades. The show was also adapted into a television series and a stage play.

The Navy Lark was known for its humorous portrayal of naval life and the characters' absurd and comical antics. It was a classic example of the "situation comedy" genre and was enjoyed by audiences of all ages.
