Technical Description

An 18th century facet cut liqueur glass dating to c1790.

A deep emerald green in colour it has a decagon 10 sided bowl which has a gilded rim and gilded neo-classical swags. A six sided hexagonal facet cut stem on a conical foot.

Liqueur glasses in this form are quiet rare.

German or Bohemian, c1790

Condition

Excellent, no chips cracks or restoration, some loss of gilding to the rim.
