Welcome to the 89th. year of Anchorage Fur Rendezvous, or Fur Rondy a premier winter festival which started in 1935..celebrating winter & life in the Last Frontier with winter sports, native cultures, unique events like "Running with the Reindeer", Blanket Toss", Sled Dog Racing locally", and of course the main racing events are "The Iron Dog Snowmachine Race" and Fur Rondy gala, the World Championship Sled Dog Race to Nome, Alaska.
