This book continues to the next stage, demonstrating many of the more advanced raised techniques, by means of six designs with detailed working instructions and diagrams. Six patterns designed by the author, or adapted from traditional sources, accompanied by very full and detailed working instructions, and supported by diagrams. The photographs of each of the finished pieces are magnified to show as much detail as possible. Each pattern is followed by a discussion of the working methods used, and of the ways these can be adapted and applied in other circumstances.
