THE MATERIAL FROM WHICH IT IS MADE RESEMBLES BOTH BONE & IVORY/SCRIMSHAW BUT UNKNOWN FOR CERTAIN.

IT MEASURES 7.5" IN LENGTH AND 4" IN WIDTH

THE TASSELS HOLDING THE SAME IVORY MATERIAL HAVE SMALL BELLS ATTACHED AT THE BOTTOM AND HAVE AGED DRAMATICALLY

THERE IS A SMALL AGE CRACK RUNNING THROUGH THE LEFT SIDE WHICH IS VISIBLE ONLY IF LOOKING WITHIN A FEW INCHES FROM IT.  OTHERWISE IT IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION CONSIDERING ITS AGE
