It is a collection of one dozen vintage Catholic Books, all with Roman Catholic Imprimaturs, and all featuring Lives and Teachings of various saints venerated in the  Catholic Church. We are offering these at a wholesale bulk price, either because the of the book's as-is condition or because they are duplicates of titles in our library. The grouping consists of the following:


Saint Teresa (of Avila) A Journey in Spain by Elizabeth Hamilton, published by Charles Scribner's Sons, 1959. Good Condition, Illustrated, some sun fading on spine face, library card pocket still inside back cover of the book;

The Larks of Umbria (St Francis of Assisi) by Albert P.Schimberg, Bruce Publishing Company 1943 3rd Printing, in Good condition with Illustrations, but slight stain noted on top of page block and bleeding into a few page edges;

The Book of the Twelve Apostles, By Joseph Quadflieg, published by Pantheon Books, 1961, Color & B/W Illustrations with dust jacket included. a nice copy in FINE condition, but a duplicate in our library;

La Salle, Patron of All Teachers by Edward A. Fitzpatrick, Bruce Publishing Company 1951, illustrated hard cover, Fine condition, library card still inside back cover, a duplicate in our library;

Good Shephed's Fold (St Mary Euphrasia Pelletier, Sisters of the Good Shepherd), by Anne Cawley Boardman, published by Harper Brothers, 1955 stated 1st Edition with dust jacket, illustrated, exterior cover boards are scuffed where dj adhesive was once applied, interior text in good condition;

Marguerite D'Youville, Foundress of the Grey Nuns, by Estelle Mitchell, S.G.M., Palm Publishers 1965 copyright, illustrated,and with dust jacket. DJ is torn and exterior cover a bit dusty, but interior is fine, a duplicate in our library;

A Man Named John, The Life of Pope John XXIII by Alden Hatch,  published by Hawthorne Books 1963 1st Edition, with dust jacket, illustrated, a nice copy but cover boards are a bit bowed and dj shows a bit of wear, a duplicate in our library;

Giants of the Faith, Conversions Which Changed the World (St Paul, St Augustine, Cardinal Newman and more) by John A.O'Brien published by Hanover House, 1957 stated 1st Edition FINE condition, only the dust jacket is a bit worn;
 
The Hidden Face A Study of St Therese of Lisieux by Ida Friederike Gorres, with frontispiece illustration, published 1959 by Pantheon Books, text is clean but exterior hinges front and back are loose and there is  some scuffing to cover boards, as-is condition noted;

The Spiritual Teaching of Mary of the Incarnation by Fernand Jette, O.M.I., Palm Publishers, 1963, hardcover with dust jacket, in  Fine condition, a duplicate in our library;

Jeanne Jugan by Paul Millicent, published by Darton, Longmans & Todd 1981 reprint SOFTCOVER, illustrated, good condition, a bit of external cover wear only;

Star of Jacob The Story of the Venerable Francis Libermann by Helen Walker Homan, published by David McKay Company 1954 hardcover with dust jacket & library acetate. Protective covers are  permanently attached to external boards, there is one clipped page noted, as-is condition noted.


These are being offered as a collection of TWELVE volumes, and we would request that you do not ask that we sell individual books from the grouping at this time.
