This fine antique George V sterling silver photograph frame has a rounded rectangular form with an incurved, domed upper portion and a plain rectangular internal window.
The surface of this large silver photo frame is plain and embellished with a paralleling embossed decorated border to the rim.
This photograph frame is fitted with a painted wood back with hinged strut, secured with two swivel catches.
This impressive example of antique silverware is inset with a removable glass panel.
ConditionThis antique photograph frame is a very good gauge of silver, exceptional quality and in excellent presentation condition.
There are a few minor pin holes to the embossed decoration to the upper domed portion and have been priced accordingly.
Full hallmarks struck to the surface of the frame are very clear; the upper portion of the maker's mark has wear but remains legible.
Reflections in photographs may detract from the true representation of this large silver photo frame.
