This was built from a V-Twin Manufactuing complete 1948 replica kit purchased in 1999. 1948 was the last year for the Springer front end and first year for the Panhead motor. Bike was put together and ran in 2000. Was rode for 220 miles and then parked. It was kept indoors and well stored. I recently acquired it and spent many hours going through everything and getting it back to top notch. Installed new horn, ignition, battery and tank emblems. I rebuilt carb and changed the oil (50wt). Motor is an S&S 74" with STD heads. It has an automatic advance distributor and Shovelhead oil pump. It has a Bendix carb and 12V charging system with electronic regulator. Enclosed primary belt drive with brand new belt. 4 speed transmission with ratchet lid. Tank shifter gate is straight slotted. Star hub wheels with timken bearings. Lots and lots of very nice chrome. Includes ignition and tool box keys. Red paint is 24 years old and shows its age. It has sustained some chips large and small as well as a few scratches. All of the flaws have been touched up, but the shade is a little different, most notable spot is on the rear fender (see photos). Does leave a few drops of oil under the breather hose that dumps on the rear chain. May stop after ridden regularly. Includes windshield, leather saddle bags (have a few scuffs from being moved around), leather buddy seat, rear crash bar and override springs. All in good condition (came with kit). As previously stated, everything has been gone through, corrected and adjusted as needed. Starts first kick after prime kicks. Runs and sounds fantastic! Very peppy. All test rides were very good. I have owned many bikes over the years including a 1950 Panhead I've had for over 44 years now and know a good solid bike when I ride one. This is one!  Everything works as it should. A real joy to ride. V-Twin still offers this same kit. It retails for $22,300.00 unassembled. No paint, no powder coat. This bike has never been titled. I had to put "Clear" on the title selection as it would not let me enter what I wanted or leave it blank. Sorry for any confusion. There is no title. It comes with an MSO for the frame and motor from original manufacturers as well as a list of all parts. I will also include a Bill of Sale, notarized if requested. Should not have an issue getting a title. $500.00 deposit due within 24 hours. Buyer is responsible for all shipping cost and arrangements. I will assist on my end with carrier.
